BeatingTheClose publishes tennis match previews for the ATP and WTA tours. Each article ends with a prediction (the player we expect to win and a confidence level: lean, solid or strong) and shows the Polymarket price at the time of writing. Results are added after each match, so every pick is graded publicly. Content is informational only and is not betting or financial advice.

Key concepts used across the site:

- Market price: the cost of a share that pays $1 if the player wins, quoted in cents; 62¢ roughly means a 62% chance.
- Closing price: the last market price before the match starts.
- Beating the close: buying at a better price than the closing price, a common sign of an edge.
